Not quite 100%
So far so good with these. The one gripe I have is that it frustrates me to no end to see great camo products that skimp out aned dont carry it through 100%. Camo boots, camo zippers, color matched scuff patches all great. But then thy put a black nylon belt and black suspenders on it???? Why???? I wear waders all year long as a nuisance trapper, so I dont always have a jacket on that covers those areas. Drives me nuts, especially on a set of waders that cost this much.

Apex wadders
Really like the fit and feel of these waders. Great customer service. Had a pair for 9 years and they did great. The only reason I rated this new pair a 4 I have not been in the water with them yet. If this are like my old ones I will rate them a 5. Thanks LL Beam.

Seems okay but not as nice as last pair.
I liked my previous pair of Bean waders which lasted 7 years, so I bought this pair to replace them. Unfortunately, some features were changed for the worse. I liked the old straps better. They were more comfortable and easier to manage. They buckles are also much larger, which can interfere with mounting the gun. The pouch in front with the vertical zippers seems odd, two zippers side by side leading into the same pouch. That pouch on my set was open at one side which allows contents to go back into the lining. Maybe some stitching was missed on my pair. The added wear pads on the knees and butt seem way too small. On the plus side, two D-rings were added to the front and the boots are camo colored. Also, the boots seem a little more comfortable. Maybe more padding was added. This rating assumes that these waders will hold up as well as my last pair. I just started using them a few weeks ago.

Rating incomplete
Rating incomplete. Bought exact set 8 years ago but they run much smaller now. Will have to exchange for next size up. Loved old ones. Lasted 8 hunting seasons

Way better than neoprene
I was hesitant to switch away from neoprene because (like most women) I'm always cold. Combined with LL Bean's fleece wader pant and some toe warmers, I was plenty warm enough for hunting in 15 degrees in a layout boat all morning. Way more comfortable and range of motion than neoprene. I got these in size 10 medium (I’m 5’11” 165lbs). I am all legs so the knee pads are too short for me but otherwise these things are the bomb (Do kids still say that?) I love the pockets and the hip belt is way better than my previous neoprene pair. 5 stars!
