Nice jacket, tight armpits
I liked the jacket a lot but returned it because, to me, the arm holes are small, making for an overly snug fit up high under the armpits. I ordered a Medium and I'm 5'11" / 173 lbs. The jacket otherwise fit great.

Europe 2024 trip
I bought this jacket for a trip to Europe this October 2024. I used it for two weeks solid. I bought because it could fold into the left pocket and easily be put into my backpack. This was a terrific purchase for me. The jacket packed away as should, kept me warm, and when it was not cold enough it did not over heat me. The only thing is I wish the upper zipper pocket would have been on the inside rather than outside. I think that would be more useful in protecting a wallet, phone, or in our case a passport. I have an LLBean vest and it has the inside pocket. I recommend this jacket for purchase.

A little cheaper than before but still quite good
This very handy jacket has unfortunately been somewhat downgraded from the version of several years ago: It no longer has the soft material around the neck and collar - too bad as it was a nice feature - now your skin as against nylon. The stowing pocket is now one uses the left pocket as a stowing envelope - it's "OK" but not nearly as sweet as the original stow-pocket with zipper. These seem like cost-cutting decisions - dog forbid the price might go up a little over the years in order to keep the quality up. Apparently, it's better to let the build quality slowly suffer over the years in order to never have a price rise. Other than these quibbles, it seems much like the older model and does a good job of stopping wind and holding heat in. Wish the outside nylon material were just a touch tougher/heavier/robust and I wish it had 15% more down stuffing. With that said I know of no other jacket which is this warm and which can be stuffed into a small pillow for packing or for use as a sleeping/napping pillow and which also comes in a medium/tall size.

Nice!
Light and warm for California winters in the Central Valley, admittedly nothing compared to the Northeast.

Good One
Very comfortable and packable. Did a recent hike to 9000 feet but it didn’t get to cold. Another trip in October.
