Great jacket but awkward sizing (for me at least)
I tried this jacket in a L and XL (5’11” 195 lbs athletic build) but neither fit great. L is my true size but it fits tightly in the chest, shoulders and back and definitely not enough room to layer. Meanwhile the XL solves those issues but left an insane amount of extra room in the stomach. Maybe I’m an outlier but the fit is really awkward which is rare considering how my other LL Bean jackets have been great for me. Otherwise the jacket quality, style, and functionally are truly 10/10, but unfortunately I can’t make it work for me due to the fit.

Excellent jacket
The gunmetal gray version just arrived and I love it. The color is "bluer" than I thought it would be, but that's ok for me. Fit is perfect, the details are great. Size medium, 5'-9", 175 lbs. The insulation seems fairly dense but is not bulky. Can't wait to wear it out. Pictured with Signature 1933 flannel, which I have like 7 different colors of because it's the best flannel shirt that exists.

Keeps getting better
Bought it when I was in a hurry. Kept discovering great features I didn’t realize it had. Grey color is perfect with jeans. Comfortable and cosy. Great workmanship. Love it.

Perfect fall jacket
Great tough looking jacket, great color, perfect for fall, just what I wanted. I find jean jackets inconvenient because they have only buttons and no zipper, this jacket has that tough look with the convenience of a zipper but the flap over makes it so it's not visible, perfect.

Han Solo Blue, not Black
Let me clear something up: Black is not black. It is what I refer to as Han Solo Blue. It's basically the same shade as his jackets in Empire and Force Awakens. I own the parka and jacket so I feel like a space scoundrel from Oct to April. I love both coats.

Nice Fall jacket in New England.
Comfy, good looking jacket for Fall or Spring. I have not worn it in a downpour, but it has handled occasional light rain quite well. So far good for 35 to 55 degree F. Add a few layers with sweater and a turtle neck I’m sure it will be fine even colder. Not too heavy or bulky..just right.
