Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps getting better Bought it when I was in a hurry. Kept discovering great features I didn’t realize it had. Grey color is perfect with jeans. Comfortable and cosy. Great workmanship. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Han Solo Blue, not Black Let me clear something up: Black is not black. It is what I refer to as Han Solo Blue. It's basically the same shade as his jackets in Empire and Force Awakens. I own the parka and jacket so I feel like a space scoundrel from Oct to April. I love both coats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Fall jacket in New England. Comfy, good looking jacket for Fall or Spring. I have not worn it in a downpour, but it has handled occasional light rain quite well. So far good for 35 to 55 degree F. Add a few layers with sweater and a turtle neck I’m sure it will be fine even colder. Not too heavy or bulky..just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large regular I’m a slim, 6ft male. I ordered large regular and it fits perfectly. The sleeves were a little lose but having the adjustment buttons on the sleeve solved that problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite jacket Perfect jacket for all year round weather in Northern California. It’s well made and has a casual style that I like. I’m 5’10” and 195lbs. I’m normally a medium in LL Bean clothes (typically a large in other brands), but I went with a large after reading other reviews. Large was the right choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Review I purchased black, got dark blue jacket instead. Deceptive picture, advertisement. You could have opt for regular packaging, wrinkling the jacket in compact one instead. Disappointing. I am ordering from you since mid 90s but I do not recognize today's LLBean. Cold weather will tell insulation, warmth and comfort tale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Fall Jacket The jacket is lovely. It is everything as advertised. My problem with this garment is it’s too heavy. I like the length although it is more than I need. I want a summer weight jacket to wear on cool Texas days and this jacket is not that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unmatched Durability and Longevity Where do I begin? I bought this jacket (in the brown color, which looks the same as advertised) at the beginning of my senior year of highschool. I'm now a junior in college. Though I didn't wear it too frequently at first, I've worn this jacket at least 5 times a week (often more) without fail for the past 2 years straight. It has kept me warm down to around 35 F by itself, and toasty down to 20-15 with nothing but an average hoodie layered underneath, but is light enough to wear in up to 80 degrees comfortably. It's water-resistant to the point of approaching waterproof; though the external pockets will get wet on the inside, my torso and arms will stay completely dry, even in a downpour. It looks good. It has deceptively large pockets. The breast pocket in particular has much more capacity then you'd expect, and I've fit an entire metal water bottle into the waist pockets on multiple occasions. The canvas exterior is thick and rugged, and it's allowed me to walk straight through thorn bushes unfazed. After three and a half years of near-constant year-round use, rain snow and shine, nothing has broken, frayed, or ripped. Even the zipper is still on. It's easily one of the best pieces of clothing I've ever owned, and unless LL Bean changes up something with the manufacturing, I would heartily recommend this coat to anyone that likes how it looks or is looking for a reliable piece of outerwear.
