Great for Minnesota
Great coat! It’s warm and soft, and makes no noise. The hood is well designed, with great neck warmth. I don’t like the logo on the chest, but green logo on green coat doesn’t show, so I’m ok with it. Northern Minnesota is cold, but this is a good choice for daily wear. It has good sizing—the petite medium fits my 5’3”, 135# body with enough room for a bulky sweater underneath. It’s my favorite coat in many years.

So lightweight and warm.
I live in northern Alberta. Got this coat in October. It is mid November and it has already hit -20 Celsius which is -4F. The lightweight is perfect for adding layers. I'm thrilled with my choice and am complimented all the time on my beautiful deep red choice.

size differences
fits looser than in years past. I have this same jacket in navy large from a few years back and the fit is more snug. this jacket in black large is very roomy
