Great Rain Pants - Other Colors?!
These are great rain pants and started buying them when our oldest Son outgrew his blue Discovery Rain Pants that we purchased in EVERY size. We just wish L.L.Bean would offer other colors in the Trail Model Rain Pants, like any shade of blue?!! …and something pinkish or purple to compliment the jackets in those shades would be nice as well.
I did not not think lack of color options warranted taking off a star though.

Best Rain Gear sold today
Best Rain pants on the market. Buy these for my very active grandchildren who spend a great deal of time outside. Homeschooled and attend Forest School. I have been purchasing these for years and never disappointed. Prices a bit costly but worth every penny.

Kids Rain Pants fit Petite Female
I'm a petite female size 2-4petite. Kids Trail Model Rain Pants size 16 fit perfect over light-weight pants. Zippered leg fits well over shoes/boots. Only downside is kids pants don't have pockets.

Practical rain pants for smaller adults
I took a chance that these would work for me, an adult woman. Very happy with purchase -- I ordered size 16 going by the measurements, and the fit is fine, including the length. I am 5'4" and about 102 lb. Looking forward to staying dry during rainy dog walks.

These fit my 8-year-old well, but we have found them only so-so in very heavy weather. For example, he gets damp underneath in rides on the back of the cargo bike in heavy rain. Also material is not up to the demands of an active 8-year-old; it has already ripped from playing in the rain. Bottom line: suggest looking for something more rugged if you plan to be in heavy weather or heavy wear situations.
