Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tent I was camping and had severe thunderstorms two nights in a row and this tent barely leaked. The only leak was under the door and it was minimal. The fly could be a little bigger front and back. I had a tarp under the tent during the storms and the tent was great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice tent not sure about poles Good space. The poles are a bit flimsy. They seem to bend the first time the tent is set up

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poles bent We had an LL Bean tent for 30 + years and it was great. Bought this new one last year. Love everything about it except the poles made of aluminum and they bent pretty much the 1st time we used it. Find it a struggle to set up now with the bent poles

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TOUGH In August 2018, I purchased this tent for family camping with grandchildren. It has been great, and this weekend it continued to pass the test. Camping beside a lake in SC, we experienced 30 mph winds all night. The tent took it--no bent or broken poles; no rips or tears. Thank you LL Bean for making and selling a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice tent for tall folks Easy to set up and take down. Survived a gusty afternoon thunderstorm in the Adirondack High Peaks while we were away from camp. All was safe and dry. AND there was plenty of headroom for the tallest guy in the family. What more do you need in a summer tent for car-camping?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great tent if only... So this would have been a really great tent if only they had replaced the aluminum pitching rods with a more sturdy material such as fiberglass or carbon fiber. I pitched this tent for the first time at the racetrack and ended up bending a segment in both of the long aluminum poles. Even with a second person to help out, it was tricky to get this tent upright. Afterwards though the tent was great. Plenty of standing room for my 6'2" frame and not just in the middle of the tent. Airflow was pretty decent especially with the screens open during the night. I wish the rain fly would extend a little bit further out from the doorway just to deflect more rain especially if it was windy. But the side coverage is great and the backside was fine as well. This is definitely not a hiking tent as it is way too heavy for any long journey. But it is a great tent for campsites or anything that doesn't require a long hike to get to. This would be at least a 4 star if not a 5 star tent if it weren't for the weak aluminum pitching rods. You're going to have to buy aftermarket rods unless you are extremely careful. And even then the tension on this tent once assembled is pretty tight so I feel like it's unavoidable that you're going to bend a rod. Everything else about this tent is great. I would still recommend it just be very mindful about those rods.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't last, leaks everywhere Used this tent four times and then it started to leak. Was told by customer service to waterproof and seam seal. Followed directions and it still eaked like crazy. All guy cords were used. It is a bad design. Water poured in both sides covered by the fly. Drips came through the ceiling. The floor puddled up. My sister's same tent did the same. The other sisters Core tent stayed dry. Very disappointed. Nothing was touching the edges.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Started Out Great, But.... We have owned our Adventure Dome 6 for about 6 years. We use it approximately 3 times each summer...2 long weekend and 1 week long trip. We actually did not camp at all during the Covid summers. We take excellent care of our tent when erecting it, breaking it down and storing it. We have loved it up until this year when we camped in southern Vermont during an on and off rainy weekend. The tent leaked on both sides where the fly wouldn't stay lifted off the tent and water dripped through the seams of the fly onto the tent netting and onto our sleeping bags!!Very disappointing and frustrating. Also, we have found that both major tent poles have cracks and splits in them...we had to wrap them in duct tape to keep them from failing any further. We previously had a tent from Building 19 that was awesome for well over 10 years! Customer service has been less than enthusiastic in standing behind this product which is discouraging as we are big L.L.Bean fans!
