Great switch rod
Works well. Quite light but powerful. It lands big steelhead from a boat.

Affordable stitch rod
A nicely balanced Stitch rod at a bargain price. Compares well to much more expensive rods.

Great buy
I bought the #7 weight switch rod on a whim and as an experienced spey angler I enjoyed fishing this rod. It performs just as well as rods costing many times the price. I personally would recommend a 450 grain skagit head with either t-8 or t-11 10' sink tip.
If you're considering this rod for steelhead I recommend it, buy the 8 weight for anything larger.

Streamlight switch rod
This Streamlight switch rod (8 weight) handles very well with a RIO Skagit iMOW tip. Unfortunately, it broke in section 3 when fighting a King salmon in the Betsie R., Michigan. Called customer service and they ship a new rod right out - received it in 10 days and shipped back the broken rod (free). Customer service great! Will have to be a bit more careful the King salmon in the future ... assistance from a friend with a net definitely needed.

I have used this rod for trout, steelhead, salmon, Dolly Varden, and smallmouth...used as both a switch and single-handed rod, with both floating line and a Skagit head. Excellent value for the cost

Great rod
I bought this rod last year. Used it several times. So far I like it. I'm looking forward to using it in New York for steelies and salmon this fall.
