Walking in style!
Two bum knees, these poles are like cross country skiing. I haven’t walked this fast and upright in quite a while! Beats hobbling around on a cane for sure! Awesome product! I love llbean!

Shocks stick.
One of the two pole’s shock absorber works great, the other pole’s shock absorber got stuck in the retracted position. (Right out of the box). I had to play with it to get it loose, but it still has a non-smooth action and wants to get stuck when trying to un-retract. I will be going to my nearest L.L. bean store next weekend and try to exchange for one that works smoothly. My wife also hase these poles, she has one that works smoothly while the other one has just a slight drag on the release at the same point mine does. She has been using hers for a few weeks though.

Great cushioning!
I am super pleased with this last minute purchase. My regular trekking poles were too long for my duffle. I used my Bean Bucks for these collapsible and light weight trekking poles. They have a compression spring at the bottom and have given me cushioning that I didn’t even know I needed. I am currently trekking around New Zealand and am super pleased with my purchase.

Hikelite poles
I recently did a hiking trip of the Utah “Big Five” parks and bought these amazing poles for me, my two daughters and niece. There are less expensive poles, but IMO, none better. We all loved them and they were essential in popular places like The Narrows and really, every other hike. Great value for excellent hiking poles.
