When our designers saw a photo of a USA team member wearing an L.L.Bean fleece on the historic 1990 Mount Everest International Peace Climb, they had to recreate it. They combined the distinctive collar, classic pocket and contrast trim with plush, hi-pile fleece to create our softest jacket ever, with just-right breathability, warmth - and adventurous spirit.

So warm and cozy!
Love this fleece so much. It's like a soft blanket and super warm. I love the snap up collar and zip pockets. Bought an M (usually a size S) to wear with leggings and it nicely covers my butt. Perfect for cold winter days.

Warm and cozy
This is my second high pile fleece pullover. It’s so soft and cozy, not to mention warm. My go to for layering under my coat in cold weather when heading out shopping, eating out etc. I love the high collar especially on cold windy days. Looking for something warm and cozy, even to just wear in the house, give it a try.

Collar too stiff for me
Hard to see in the pictures, but the back of the neck is reinforced with a stiffer, flat material on the outside. This keeps the collar standing up stiffly, which did not feel as comfortable to me. I tried a regular Small and a regular Medium; I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs and the small was too small and the medium too big. The sleeves were maybe a touch long too- maybe a petite Medium would have fit better? But the standing-up collar would still be a dealbreaker for me. I tried the blue and the green and they're lovely colors, soft like marshmallows, and seemed very warm.

Love this fleece sweater!
I wore this right away when I received it! The petite medium fits me perfectly! I bought the grey color and it’s neutral and sophisticated. I like that the sleeves and the length of the sweater are perfect for me in the petite medium!

Lovely exception for the laundering process
Very cozy and comfortable. I wish I'd read the washing instructions prior to purchase as it's an air dry or no heat in the dryer item. I not only have two dogs that shed like crazy making the tumble dry a necessity but remembering to separate it out after the wash cycle is a pain which is why I gave it one less star.
