Looking forward
My wife is not a cold weather fisher lady hence actual water casting review is unavailable at this time however when casting on the lawn with a slight breeze she was able to cast effortlessly and with a fair amount of accuracy. The handle fit very well to her hand and when paired with an SG2 it balanced well. So looking forward to spring I think she’ll do quite well if so we’ll take it to AK on the next trip for bows and grayling

Perfect 5 Weight Rod for Dries or Nymphing
Every guide who holds this rod makes positive compliments about it. Just the right amount of flex with a fish on the line, and a great price for a starter rod too. I have used this for both dry flies as well as nymphing and had a great time (yes, caught fish). I am 5'5", and I am honestly not sure why it isn't 9' but that's ok! I highly recommend.
