High marks!
Two 73 year old women put this together without a hitch. Very well packed, but it does create a lot of non-recyclable material to throw away. Engineering is great: all the parts fit exactly. All of the bolts and shelf supports were there, and all of the pieces were included. It looks like the picture. Terrific! Compliments to the manufacturer! and to LL Bean.

Disappointed, not impressed with quality
We are very disappointed with the quality, craftsman ship and color of this product. We purchased it to go with the matching coat rack in the color “ paper white”. The coat rack hooks are not even placed straight but we thought we could cover that up with jackets, the console is MADE IN CHINA and the top wood looked cheap and grainy, it also is not the same color of the coat rack, it’s not paper white. We returned the first console and was sent another one, the top looked a little nicer but not by much and again, it’s not the same paper white. For the price this piece should be be much nicer, it looks like it came from a discount furniture store. We are lifelong Mainers and llbean shoppers and are shocked their furniture line is from China, very sad!

Very pleased again.
We needed a console that fit into a small mudroom that did not dominate, and was sturdy enough to take a lot of use and abuse. Took about an hour to put it together by myself, and all pieces worked, and the instructions made sense. My wife loves it, therefore, me too.

Sewing room addition
I ordered this for my sewing room. We unboxed this outside because of the toxic smell. It was easy to put together, I did it myself. Either the wood or the paint is very toxic smelling. After a month it's not quite as bad but still noticeable. I love the unit it fits my needs perfectly if only it wasn't made in China and toxic smelling.

Perfect Organization for small foyer
I purchased this, the 3 canvas bins (2 customized for my small children to individualize their gear), and the wall coat hanger to go above the storage console. I am not into the “farmhouse” craze, but two people said the natural wood color fit our personalities more than the all white console and coat hanger shelf. So we went with this set. I LOVE it. It looks so nice in our tight foyer and already cleans up the space and holds TONS of winter gear. Perfect for an Alaska family of 4. The quality is also great, typical of LL Bean quality. The boxes came very beat up, but they were packaged so well that the pieces were completely undamaged. Took my husband only about 30 minutes to assemble. My only complaint is that there are not smaller bins sized for the top shelves. The canvas totes fit perfectly in the bottom shelf. Would love to purchase 3 in the top shelf size for more gear organization but the dimensions are awkward and I can’t find any little bins that would fit. Thank you LL Bean for helping organize all of our stuff!
