Not what I expected
I was quite surprised to see patches on the knees. I don't see it in the picture. And I have no idea who would spend $119 for patched jeans.

Perfect fit
I put these on and immediately fell in love with the fit and softness. I am on a journey to incorporate more intentional and natural organic fabrics. However I absolutely HATE the rips and holes. They only get bigger and bigger until it’s no longer appropriate to be wearing them at my age (or any age!). The hole-less were not an option in my size so I am trying to learn how to mend or find organic cotton patches to iron on so that I can enjoy them for a few years.

PERFECT
I have a problem with jeans because most of my extra weight is in my upper hips. Not that bad, really--about 130 pounds, five feet five inches. But man, I can't wear skinny or straight-legged jeans without looking WIDE at the hips. When I get the right size for my hips the waist is too big and slides down.
As soon as I put these size 8 jeans on in the store and looked in the three-way mirror, I felt elated. Snug perfect fit, soft comfortable fabric, the "boyfriend" fit allows me to roll the cuffs if I want to, the waist sits just below my natural waist--in other words, PERFECT. I wore these jeans to a family thanksgiving dinner with a white button down shirt and a black cashmere crewneck and felt I had found the perfect balance between casual and elegant. I have to force myself not to wear them every single day! They were "signature" so they were more expensive than I'm used to--but worth it! By the way, I'm 72 years old.

Near miss on perfect
Great quality and color. The fit was perfect in store, and after washing and drying but the jeans stretched out quite a bit after wearing- especially in the knees. For the price I expected more of a "snap back" in the knee area. Would still recommend though.
