So light yet so warm
I was so pleasantly surprised with this jacket recommended to me at our local LL Bean store. I wanted something that was not puffy but provided warmth for various weather conditions. It is very warn yet light in weight. Numerous areas to help with a closer fit. I chose the beautiful blue color. Great in windy and wet conditions. I have not yet tried to pack it into its large interior pocket. The inner lining near the arm cuffs is so soft!
Only suggestion is to have the ability to zip from the bottom to improve use while driving.
My husband purchased a similar version and loves his as well.

Awkward drawstring placement
The jacket fits well, shaped nicely and is warm, but the clasps for the draw string waist are awkwardly placed, you can feel them against your body, and see small bulges in the coat through the outer layer when it is zipped.

Ditto
I love this jacket. It's light weight but very warm. I bought it for a trip in the spring. It dries quickly after a rain shower. I think it will pack easily. The one thing that has taken a little getting used to is the zipper is on the left on the women's jacket.

My favorite winter jacket
I've bought two of these over the last couple of years...perfect midweight with hood and waterproof, and in great colors! It's just hard to choose which color! And the length is perfect too, long enough but not full length to get in the way.

Love this jacket
This jacket fits well, is quite warm, and is long enough to go over long cardigans or tunics. The only negative for me, and it is a small one, is I could do without the logo on the front of the coat.

Lightweight but sooooo warm!
I love this coat more than i expected. It is sleek and lightweight but keeps me as warm as my heavier coat. Nice to wear in the car and keeps me warm when walking outside without layers in 15 degree windchill days.

Great For Chicago Weather. Horrible L.L Emblem
Love this coat/jacket. It's very soft, lightweight, and WARM. I'm in Chicago and the weather this year November (2024) has been between 20-40degrees. The coat is great adjusting to the temperature. I do not feel stuffed when sitting in my car or in a chair. I leave it on all day depending on what I'm doing. The vents under the arms are a very nice touch and they cool me off if I'm too hot. I purchased an XL and I have room for hoodies and windbreakers underneath. I'm a Size 14 jeans/pants, about 185lbs with a 38G/36H bust. I have a small belly. I'm curvy. I love the zippers by the bum and the drawcords for the waist. I'm very pleased with this coat and will keep it a very long time unless I lose more weight. My only issue is the fact that the L.L.Beam emblem is a press on. I feel like the price is alot to have a cheap press on.
