Teerivle returned, no insolution, no heat,
No heat and wind protection, this jacket looks like only for looks, it’s not tuff, it feels like a tissue mixed with a recycled trash bag.

Great jacket for November Rhine River cruise
I bought this jacket for my just completed Rhine River cruise and Amsterdam vacation. I I wanted a lightweight waterproof jacket for all the outside walking tours thru Germany and Amsterdam and this jacket was perfect for the mid 40’s day temps and colder damp nights night temps. I wore a base layer and sweater underneath so would have been warm in lower temps. Didn’t get any rain so can’t review waterproofing. My wife also bought one and she liked it too. The pockets are great too for phone, gloves maps and more.

Nice comfortable and practical jacket
Nice jacket. I appreciate offering XXXL, along with the slightly fitted option.
Water proof and lightly insulted to keep out the cool fall Michigan rains.
I also appreciate the pit zip to assist in temperature regulation.

Sometimes Hard to Fit from
Wonderful warm coat was too snug
Wonderful warm coat was too snug in the size that I ordered for my husband (XL). It is a beautifully made coat, with great pockets, and warm but not heavy. My husband wears LLBean shirts in size XL so that's what we ordered, but the coat is not cut to allow any room in the belly, and although he could zip it he feared that he wouldn't be comfortable moving in it, especially with anything more than a T-shirt on. We both feel that an XXL will be too big, especially in the shoulders, so I believe that I will be sadly returning this coat soon. Shopping for an alternative that compares favorably to this coat has not been easy though! I wonder, LLBean, have you ever considered adding a men's size range for active older gentlemen of a more "portly" build?

Great Jacket for a wet and windy trip
Great product for a trip to Iceland. It rained almost every day and this kept me dry and warm with some layers underneath. It was easy to pack as well. It did take a little time to dry after getting wet otherwise it would have received 5 starts. Happy overall!

Nice Coat - Hard to Pack
It's a nice warm and waterproof coat. I would call it midweight and is nicely vented under the arms if you get warm. I travel with this coat much of the year. I bought it because of the 'pack away' feature. There is a zippered pocked the coat can be pushed into and then zipped out. It's on the inside lapel and is a long zipper and inside that there is a tag on the interior zipper that says packaway. With that said, it's a lot of coat to get into the pocket. I can do it, but it takes an effort and I'm always worried the zipper is going to give as I'm trying to close the overstuffed pocket. So far so good, but a better design would perhaps make the packaway feature easier to use.
