Older Bean waders were much better.
I've had these for 2 full seasons now and just like the last pair, they are leaking where the boor is joined to the pant leg. No rips or tears , just a terrible bonding process.

Only made for tall skinny people
I wear 81/2 or 9 boot, I'm only 5' 5" and I am stout. Because the sizes are tied to shoe size I had to order 9 M. Way too long, and I couldn't pull them up past my hips. I thought maybe that I could try the 10 L, but I measured my chest and they would be too small around too, with a sloppy fit on the boot. If you are slender, these look like great waders. If you are an active portly person, you'll have to stick to the limitations of hip waders.

Hight School Student group purchase
We purchased these for our high students in an environmental academy. They are well made and work well... the only issue is that the straps seem to be too long. My students are not that short... most of them are adult size, but for most of them, the straps can not get short enough to fit properly. That is my only advice to the manufacturer in changing anything about these waders.

Defective
As some noted you have to order up in size in order to get the right boot size irregardless of your body size. My biggest concern was that the glue holding the top of the inner pocket failed exposing the contents of the water proof pocket. Unfortunately I realized it too late and lost items inside when I draped the waders over my shoulder to carry them.
