Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm, good fit. Decent fit. It's the end of the winter here but I've worn this jacket in -12C and been totally warm - can't wait to see how it handles real cold. Unlike what others have said, the zipper is barely a problem and in cases when it is, it takes 30 seconds at the most (I'm still getting used to it). The appearance is nice, not quite luxury but still good and build materials seem fine. People seem to care about pockets so I will say they are large and adequate in number. The fill power is 650 and is 80% goose down. Jacket is allegedly wind and water proof. My complaints: The neck. When I zip it all the way up with the hood down it's insanely tight and very uncomfortable but the issue disappears when wearing the hood. Also, no elastic around the waist which theoretically lets warm air out but I haven't noticed it yet. Sizing: I'm usually somewhere between a medium to large in shirts - 187 cm (6'2") and around 87kg (192lbs). Medium regular fit great but I'd like to see how the tall fits. Large was a bit too big Overall, I recommend it. Even at full price, it's a bargain. Keep an eye out for sales. At 10-15% off it's a steal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great coat except for handwarmer pockets Only reason this isn't getting a five-star rating is due to the placement of the upper handwarmer pockets being too high up making it awkward when using them Otherwise, great coat extremely warm. Sizing true to size . . Looks great good length

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would Not Buy Again Good coat but fit for Tall size is still too short. I’m 5’11, 170lbs and the medium tall sleeves are still too short. The hood is also tight on my head because it’s not tall enough. I tried large but the body was huge so had to stick with medium. Last gripe is that the pockets are not angled naturally, so not very comfortable when you’re trying to hide your hands from the cold. I like this coat but definitely don’t love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well built but oversized I am 5’7 with an athletic build and I purchased a small. As much as I wanted to love this coat it was way too big and I ordered the smallest size available which was a size s. This needs to be available in xs

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’ll keep you warm, but it’s not a nice coat I’ve had the jacket for two Chicago winter’s now. 6’, 165 lbs, 31” waist, athletic build. Jacket is a medium tall. It’ll keep you warm and comfortable if you wear a hooded sweatshirt beneath it. There’s no drawstring around the waist so wind goes right up it. The zipper is fine. The buttons on the front, that soft touch rubber plastic, grips to the button holes and takes a while for me to button up… so I don’t use it. The hood is not like a real snorkel hood. It is warm, but removing the fuzzy part makes it such that a sweatshirt hood protrudes further forward than the jacket hood. There’s fuzzy part is in my eyeballs almost constantly. I almost want to wear some sort of glasses with it. But it keeps me warm down to my mid-thigh cause the jacket hangs so low. I generally stay very warm in the jacket. The pockets are good. I almost always wear a hooded sweatshirt under it because I really don’t like the hood and a sweatshirt hood and a wool beanie combined are kinda nice. It also minimizes the updraft. It’ll keep you warmer than any other jacket at this price, but there are features of a more premium jackets that are not in this jacket. If money’s no object, or if you do a lot of outdoorsy stuff, get something nicer. If you are a commuter, or on a bit of a budget, this jacket will protect you from the elements nicely… with a sweatshirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent winter jacket Very warm, was great for my trip to Fairbanks, Alaska I preferred the length of the Maine Mountain Parka over the Baxter State Parka (I tried both). Suggestion for product improvement - additional interior pockets and a waist cinch like the Baxter State Parka.has.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the coat, but one aspect cost it a star The coat is heavy, warm and pretty much exactly what I wanted. However, there is one design flaw that caused me to give it 4 stars instead of 5. The velcro on the collar sticks to the fabric on the front shoulder of the coat and has already frayed the shell (I've had the coat for only a couple of months).
