Rated 3 out of 5 by from Liner of Jacket is not acceptable I like this jacket exceot for the liner which is poorly made. As others have stated, it is difficult to get your hand through the sleeve. I took the liner out and put in a nylon fabric liner that i still had from a older LL Bean Jacket and it is far superior. Hands slide right through and i will bet it is warmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all weather jacket We bought this jacket because we were going to Alaska where the current weather can be wet & cold…. It was and this jacket was perfect. The liner(which is actually a wooly jacket kept my husband warm & came out easily when it wasn’t needed) It repelled the rain and he remained dry & warm. I would highly recommend this jacket!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worst coat I ever owned — and I’m 81 Basically, this is a poorly designed coat. Let me explain. The choice of lining is terrible — it is next to impossible to wear anything but a smooth poplin shirt under it. The friction of the lining makes it almost impossible to force your arm into a sleeve, and fully impossible to withdraw it when taking an arm out. Worst, the loops that retain the sleeve lining easily snag on even a tightly fit Apple Watch. Tonight, in trying to take the jacket off, the retaining loop snagged so badly that the cheap button fell apart. I have 2 heavier jackets, both of which have excellent insulation but — unlike this LL Bean disaster, have been designed with smooth sleeve linings under which one can wear sweaters or cotton knits. Save your money and wits. Find another jacket. Look for any other

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor material choice Poor material choice. The liner gets stuck on all other fabrics. $1.00 liner would have solved this.
