Pheasant hunting in Ridge Runner
It was just what I needed for pheasant hunting in South Dakota. Kept me warm and dry on a wet and extremely windy day and allowed for light underlayers and did not restrict movement.

Like the asymmetrical zip
I bought this for hunting in the desert, and it was thick enough to protect me from pokes and scratches. I will agree that it’s not silent when drawing back on my bow, which may have spooked an animal. Also no hood, which I needed to keep the sun off my neck.
But the asymmetrical zipper in front is great.

Not Quiet
Design and fit are great. HOWEVER, the material totally misses the mark for being quiet. It sounds and feels almost like a rubber raincoat from yesteryear. I put the jacket on and made the motion of drawing back my bow. A deer would hear the noise the suit makes from 50 yds. away. Please go back to the drawing board on this one, and give women hunters the silent hunting wear they need.

A must for the female hunter!
Finally, a jacket that is functional and flattering! I've been stuck wearing men's size smalls until I found this one! This is my new go to jacket for hunting. Great for layering a fluffy down under in cold weather. I love it for bow hunting because it's quiet. No awful chest pocket, instead it has a little pocket on the arm. Waterproof zippers and the sleeves are long enough for me!
