This women's hunting sweater features the same proven design and construction of our legendary men's commando sweater. It's made from warm, comfortable merino lamb's wool.
The iconic commando sweater worn in World War II by the British S.A.S. is the inspiration for this sweater. The women's version is impeccably styled and features the same legendary warm, durable construction.

Nice for cold weather sweater
I love the unique shoulder & elbow trims that add a little something to a regular crewneck sweater. The sweater is very warm, a tad heavy and definitely feels like wool but I didn’t have any issues with itching, however, I found it more comfortable with a camisole underneath. I got the black and will probably be ordering one of the other colors. I first ordered a Small but it was too narrow in the shoulders but the Medium was perfect. Torso is long enough, sleeves are appropriately long and I love the cuffs. For reference I’m 5’7”, 130# and usually wear a 6 but like my sweaters a little loose. This is a great colder weather sweater!

Love this sweater
I wore this sweater over my wool base layer, and under my down jacket hiking at Bryce Canyon 2 weeks ago. It kept me warm in the frigid weather, without being bulky. It’s alway comfortable whether I wear it at home or around town. I love this sweater. Merino wool a favorite.

I have 2 of these sweaters. They are very warm and comfortable and the patches on the sleeves seem to keep it from pilling. With the extremely cold weather we've been having this winter, I'm very glad I bought these and may buy the other color that I don't have.

Warm and very functional
I wear this a lot - its a workhorse. I especially love this for working outside when its cold. Its very warm, and fits close to the body so it doesn't get caught on everything. I usually buy petite sweaters, but the sleeve on this fold over neatly, so it works well.
