Here in Maine, calling something "wicked good" is the highest form of praise. When you slip into these soft moccasin slippers, you'll understand exactly how they earned their name. And customers agree - describing them as the "Best Slippers Ever" and sharing over 50,000 five-star reviews. In fact, they're so popular, we sell a pair every few seconds during our peak season.

  • Genuine shearling lamb fur is dyed and treated.
  • Rubber outsole adds traction and durability.
  • Sumptuous shearling lining regulates foot temperature and wicks away moisture.
  • Premium moosehide upper with rawhide laces.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slippers fit for a King!! I've now had these slippers for 6 or 7 years. I've literally worn them at times like I would my work boots, just not at work, of course. I've gone outside in the snow, ice and mud wearing them, 50 yards one way to the log stacks to gather logs (usually making two or three trips) and carrying an armload back to the house. I wear them when it might be raining outside if I go to the mailbox to gather the mail. I wear them *all the time* that I'm not in my work boots doing something that I don't want stuff getting inside them making me have to constantly stop and remove one at a time to empty out whatever it is. I can wear these with snow on the ground, bare feet inside them (I *never* wear socks in these!), and my toes will take 10 minutes to start getting cold! The shearling and the leather is so good, it's simply amazing! After all the abuse I've put them through, and I'm very serious about how and where I wear/wore these inside and out and how often, I could now take a damp cloth and wipe them down, let them dry and they would look almost new. The leather hasn't worn anywhere, the tie string still looks like new, the rubber outsole is *finally* starting to look used (our driveway is gravel, and not that nice, grey, pea-gravel, but the stuff that is sometimes half the size of a baseball, white-ish colored. Not a hole yet in these slippers. If I stay out of puddles more than a inch deep, my feet stay dry. If the grass is wet from dew or rain or it's raining, my feet stay dry. I've not once applied any leather oil to these, like I do with my work books. They *do* tend to stretch a bit. I wear a 10.5 and ordered a 10. They are going to be tight and a little uncomfortable for a while, but just keep in them as much as you can stand and before you realize it, they've formed to your feet and fit really nicely. You won't get blisters or sores anywhere...at least I didn't...and I can't see how they would give any anyway. Then just tighten the lace and they're good for easy slip-on/off for the next 6+ years! I really would recommend going down half a size at minimum. Because mine *are* finally starting to 'chip' a little on the outsoles, and they've stretched more than I want, and the shearling is pretty much now flattened to nothing, I'm trying to talk the OL into getting me a new pair. Since these aren't made in half sizes, I'll just go ahead and once again get a 10 and be happy with them. LL Bean knocked it out of the park with these slippers. I live on a pittance of a disability check and these are an *extreme* extravagance for me, but these make it so much nicer and easier for me and my neuropathy that I can't imagine being without them now. I used to just go barefoot a lot and that was just awful. These slippers are simply worth it to me. The price is really actually good for the use one will get from them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made. Comfortable. This is the second pair Ive purchased. The first was 5 yrs ago. These slippers last! My husband wears them inside and out (to grab the mail) and he says they are super comfortable. The leather is so soft, the stitching is beautifully crafted and the fleece inside is not sweaty hot, its breathable and conforms to the feet. These are worth the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sizes very You need to make 1/2 sizes. Sizes are not consistent. Lack of quality control. I still love the shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from S-I-L birthday gift Bought a pair of Lester Sherpa lined bedroom slippers about 10 years ago; they finally had to be replaced…this was my only option!?! Will see if these prove to be as great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New moccasins every bit as good as my 1990s pair I love my new moccasins! My old ones, which are the exact same product from L.L. Bean that I bought about 25 years ago, are finally almost worn out. I wear my moccasins almost every day and I'm so glad to be able to replace them with new ones that I'll enjoy for another decade or two. Yes, they are a little pricey, but considering they will probably last the rest of my life, these are a great value. Highly recommended!
