This classic wool jac-shirt is half jacket, half shirt, so you'll wear it year round. It's roomy enough to wear over a sweater, yet also makes a great outer shirt when worn alone in warmer weather.

the jacket needs to be 100 percent wool it would make it warmer also it needs a Velcro on the collar.
I'm using it for bow deer hunting every thing needs to be quiet.
i have 100% wool shirts i got from cabelas years a go they are warmer then ll bead shrits are now

THIS JACKET SHOULD HAVE A HOOD AND IT COULD BE 85% WOOL NOT 70% OR 100% WOOL WHICH WOULD BE BETTER. & WARMER AND MORE COLORS IN EARTH TONE COLORS,I'M WEARING IT FOR DEER BOWHUNTING THIS YEAR. I HAD IT ON SHOOT BY BOW AND SO FAR IT NICE AT UPPER 40S.

i just got my new ll bead guide jac-jacket i wore it this morning shooting my longbow its fantacic its so soft i'm planing on getting the plaid jacket too i love wool i have shirts, gloves , pants in wool ,i wish that ll bean would make that jacket in camo & put buttons on the waist & on the hand pockets and make the chest pocket a little bit bigger.
i wore my wool pants last winter bowhunting and did'nt even get cold i use to wear insulated bibs but no more insulated hunting clothes make noise when i draw my bow.
ll beans wool pants should have cargo pockets like army bdu .
wish ll bead would offer the maine guide parka in a nonlinen with a optional hood.

Good overall runs a little big
Great jacket. Sizing seems slightly big. I was worried about the normal large being too short (I am 6’1) so I got the large tall and the sleeves are just slightly too long. Otherwise love the look and it keeps you warm
