Perfect gift for someone who's always cold
I love this sweater! It's so well-made and classy looking -- and best of all, warm without making you feel like you're roasting. I'm always cold, but I quickly felt soothingly warm when I tried this on. Also, the fit is much more flattering than many L.L. Bean tops that claim to be "slightly fitted" but actually look a little paunchy and sloppy. I'm 4'11" and 110-115 lb., and the medium fit nicely. Even my husband, who says that L.L. Bean sweaters and tops often look baggy on me, said this sweater was flattering. Although the sleeves on the medium were a little long on me, I rolled them up a bit and they looked just fine. In fact, I liked the sweater so much that I ordered it on all three colors. If your Christmas list includes a woman who's often cold, I'll bet she'd like this sweater too.

Waterfowl Sweater-stylish & functional!
Love this sweater! It fits well & is perfect for late fall weather in PA! It blocks the wind & can be worn alone or under outer layers. It is stylish, too! I may get this in another color!

Absolutely the Best!
This is one warm sweater that fits well and looks good. It can be a wee bit in the scratchy side at first but after wearing one or two time I don’t notice. Other option is to wear a lite cami or t-shirt underneath. The sweater is great at blocking wind and cold, and pair well under lite it medium weight coat over it. It is a new favorite of mine.

Quality wool sweater
I was hesitant to buy the sable cause the pictures looked kind of blah on my screen but I have sweaters in the other colors. In person, I love the sable. Warm cozy and comfortable sweater. It's not scratchy but substantial. So far no sign of pilling. Comfortable classic style that I can wear for years both for outdoor activities and casual wear.

My new favorite sweater
Great sweater especially for the money. The yarns are soft and appear durable, we’ll see how it holds up, I want to wear it all the time and just might. Warm but not bulky and the sleeves are long enough for my long arms, unlike most women’s tops.

Waterfowl Sweater
It was not comfortable, did not fit well, and I did not appreciate that whether I exchanged for a different size or simply returned, I'd be out an extra six bucks.

Best everyday sweater
Best everyday sweater that warm, comfortable, and very breathable. It looks sharp and goes with everything. I live in the PNW and used to live in fleece. This is now my go to for outdoor activities, walking, shopping, etc. I just love it. I have the green one.

Well made
I have been eyeing this sweater and waiting for a sale. I bought the sable brown in a small. I am 5’3.5”. It fits well with room for a long sleeve shirt underneath. I don’t find the wool itchy. It is more a rugged sweater than one that is a blend with cashmere. I was worried that the small might not fit based on buying the cotton double knit sweater which requires a larger size, medium for me. I prefer this sweater over the cotton double knit as those have tighter arms.
