Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite sweater Great sweater especially for the money. The yarns are soft and appear durable, we’ll see how it holds up, I want to wear it all the time and just might. Warm but not bulky and the sleeves are long enough for my long arms, unlike most women’s tops.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waterfowl Sweater It was not comfortable, did not fit well, and I did not appreciate that whether I exchanged for a different size or simply returned, I'd be out an extra six bucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best everyday sweater Best everyday sweater that warm, comfortable, and very breathable. It looks sharp and goes with everything. I live in the PNW and used to live in fleece. This is now my go to for outdoor activities, walking, shopping, etc. I just love it. I have the green one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made I have been eyeing this sweater and waiting for a sale. I bought the sable brown in a small. I am 5’3.5”. It fits well with room for a long sleeve shirt underneath. I don’t find the wool itchy. It is more a rugged sweater than one that is a blend with cashmere. I was worried that the small might not fit based on buying the cotton double knit sweater which requires a larger size, medium for me. I prefer this sweater over the cotton double knit as those have tighter arms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Function and Fashion Went to the Flagship store to try on sweaters. They had a lot of variations on this style in the hunting department. They were all very nice - dense, heavy merino wool, good medium lavandar/purple color. It has a slim fit which is good for me. They did not have my size so I ordered it. When it came it was just as beautiful but smelled like bug spray. The same smell as imported rugs. I have hung it out on the porch and the odor is fading. The store ones did not smell like anything. Disappointed it didn't smell little like sheep lanolin. I may keep it if the odor fads. I will put it over an old mid weight base layer and under a wind proof shell. I expect it to be warm. I hope to use it for X-country skiing and snow shoeing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, work horse if a sweater The sweater is very thickly knit and substantial. It is extremely warm. In fact, it is so warm that I don’t think I’ll be able to wear it here in South New Jersey. Perhaps I’m jaded because I tried it on in the beginning of September when it was hot. I returned it, but I may buy it later in the season. The sweater reminds me of vintage wool sweaters I used to wear as a teenager. This is the real deal.
