Great shorts
I purchased my first pair in brown and after wearing them for a couple of months ordered a pair in blue and orange. I enjoy wearing them and think corduroy is a great fabric option. Great with a pair of Birks and a polo. They would be more convenient with two back pockets instead of one (for a phone), but that’s not a deal breaker. As far as fit is concerned, other reviews are correct. The cut of these shorts is on the trim side. I used the fit app on Bean’s website and it predicted a “tight” fit for me (at size 30). Turns out they’re perfect, but I would suggest if you’re borderline go up a size.

Nice, comfortable shorts
I love these shorts and they fit great, I bought two pairs and I would buy more but unfortunately the buttons came off of both pairs of shorts in the first week, so I definitely have second thoughts on buying them again.

Skinny leg opening
These shorts have extremely narrow leg openings. I'm usually a 32, so I ordered sizes 31, 32, and 33 to test them out keep the one that fits. These fit like someone hemmed a pair of skinny jeans, as such they will feel like compression shorts if you have even moderately sized thighs. This is unfortunate, because the color and fabric were excellent.
