Almost Perfect
Although these boots are nice looking and well made, they are almost impossible to pull on. A redesign to allow more stretch in the gussets would help.

Disappointed
I have loved llbean for decades but I purchased these boots and have never been more disappointed..the style was changed at the ankle and I struggled all winter to get them on..the material around the ankle would collapse making it impossible to get them on easily.. I purchased a gray pair 5 years ago and loved them..so much so that I wore them out..my recent purchase I regret..what a waste of $140..😢

Kinda works on hard-to-fit feet
I have hard-to-fit feet (one foot almost a size larger than the other and in-between widths). Also, my feet are flat. Therefore, I wear orthotics, which have to fit inside the shoes comfortably. None of the shoes I buy feel comfortable at first. These seem to work more or less.

Wonderful boot! Best treads I ever had - actually walked on ice (not by choice) and didn't slip; encountered black ice - an elderly woman's worst enemy - barely slipped. Warm, perfect fit, attractive looking (bonus). Difficult to get into at first - snug around the ankle - which is what you want - but eases with wear. An inexpensive shoe horn is all you need. Very glad I have them. A fall at my age is no joke...

Hard to get on but comfortable afterwards.
Once I get the shoe on it’s very comfortable, however the top part is stiff and narrow and it very difficult to get on. I’m hoping it will loosen up with usage.

Not waterproof
The boots fit well and are easy to slip on and easy to slip off. They are not water proof--they are water resistant--not suitable for walking in water.

Not so sure
I probably should have sent these back, but it was snowing when they arrived and I didn't have any other boots readily accessible. They fit tight, almost too tight to wear with socks. That got me thinking that the "sneaker" part indicates that they are meant to be worn without socks. I tried wearing them without socks successfully. But being that I like my socks, I consider this second best.
