1912 Jeans
Greatly disappointed in the new version of the 1912 jeans. The original 1912 jeans were a medium weight and always fit just right. The new product is heavier but has essentially been ruined with the addition of a spandex typed of material mix. The new version strecthes out so fast that I need to wash them after one wearing to tighten the waist back up.

The last time I purchased the 1912 jeans they were made of 100% cotton, and they fit so nice and comfortable, then I purchased another pair with darker color. Since then L.L. Bean added spandex, and they never felt/fit the same. I wish L.L. Bean offered a choice.

Blue Jeans Rule!
Good fit. Very comfy. Love these jeans. Not as heavy a fabric as some of my other jeans, so not for working in the yard or doing tough duty chores, but highly recommend for general casual wear!

True sizing and high quality denim cloth
Excellent fit and finish. True to size and light drying (initially) in the dryer, then hung up to air dry will allow very little shrinkage. The seams stay straight as the uniformity of the denim cloth is consistent.

What happened to the old 1912's?
Very disappointed in these pants. Can't even really call them jeans because they feel nothing like denim. Bought three pair and returned them all. Please bring back the old 100% cotton 1912's, until then I'll have to find a new brand of jeans.
