The name says it all: our extra-cozy blanket features a soft cotton side, a plush fleece side and warm down fill. It's like three cozy blankets in one.

- Wash and dry in large commercial machine.

Lower Quality for More Money
L.L. Bean used to offer a similar version of this blanket, which was plush and down, but the fabric was sateen. I LOVED those blankets, and I was slowly buying one in every color, and then, for whatever reason, the sateen version was discontinued. Thinking this one would be similar, I went ahead and purchased the queen size in Foggy Blue.
From the moment I unpackaged the blanket, I could tell it wasn't the same high-quality product I'd come to love. In comparison, the fabric of this blanket feels cheap, it's not nearly as soft, and there's significantly less down, but what's truly disappointing is that this particular blanket is significantly more expensive than the sateen version.
I understand that costs are going up, and I would have happily paid more for the discontinued blanket, but to pay more money for lower quality is absurd.
I gave away the blanket, and I will not be purchasing it again.
For 20+ years, I've been an L.L. Bean customer, and this experience has caused me to hesitate to purchase anything else from them. Any time I think about buying another L.L. Bean product, I'm forced to wonder where else they've cut quality and increased prices.

I spotted this comforter while shopping at Beans, the sage green color really caught my eye. It is amazingly warm and I love how one side is soft and plushy. This is well worth the money.

I’m really enjoying this blanket!
Super warm and cozy. I’ve been frustrated by the shifting of my down comforters in the duvet covers…I end up with an empty cover over the top of me and the actual comforter balled up down below, even with the ties.
This doesn’t shift, and is a great layer between your thin primaloft comforter and a matelasse blanket to protect it from the dogs’ feet and hair.
It can be washed in a large capacity home washer, but does take a for amount of time to dry.
I like my house cold, especially at night, and this is a great addition to my sleeping comfort!
