Cost cutting
I'd like to start by saying; outside of my complaints it's a great cardigan. With that out of the way.. For what I assume to be cost cutting. The inside of where the pocket is there is no backing. Instead there is a single string holding the pocket in place. This is maddening and a great example of planned obsolescence. One wrong move and the cardigan is ruined. Why they went with this is obvious just maddening. That layer of cotton would be like what 10$? Do better for your customers and be the durable brand you claim to be.

I normally wear an XXL sized t-shirt, crew sweaters, coats all for LL Bean. However this sweater was very XXL. The sleeves ends had to be folded up so they would not over extend my fingers. shoulder seam extended down my arm. I wear a 50 Regular sport coat.

Handsome forest green sweater

Best cotton cardigan EVER
This is the most handsome, warmest, greatest sweater! All cotton so always the right temperature. Purchased a 3XT for my giant husband and it’s a perfect fit. We loved it SO much we bought two, just alike. The blue is lovely. The tall is fairly long. My husband specifically wanted buttons, not zippers. It is absolute perfection.

Warm AND good-looking!
Warm and comfortable in cold weather but not itchy like wool, so I can wear it with short sleeves. A further benefit is that it’s a good looking garment!
