Doggone great coat!

Bad fit
Coat was size small.,, too tight for my 10 pound dog..also the back did not lay close to her body, exposing her to the cold

Finally, a great fitting coat!
He's short, he's long, he's small. He's a miniature Dachshund. It's hard to get a good fit. Having a coat of these naterials and weight us wonderful. And...he looks GOOD.

Great coat but harness hole needs work
This is one of the best coats I have found for my dog but the harness hole tears easily and needs to be upgraded to be more wear resistant.

Great jackets, but run small in size.
This is an awesome doggie jacket and my dog loves it! I bought one years ago like this for my German Shepherd and she loved hers too, so I decided to get one for my beagle. These jackets are really well made and help keep my dog warm during the cold weather. LL Bean doesn’t have a sizing chart for these jackets on their website, so given my dog is a beagle, I went with a medium. It was way too small! I returned it and got a large and it fits much better. I would have thought a large would have been for a Labrador retriever size dog, but it fit my beagle. So when ordering, call LL Bean directly for sizing measurements, or purchase one size up.

Excellent coat!
My adorable beagle mix doesn’t mind wearing this coat and looks extra cute in it. It’s so well made and very easy to put on and take off. Some coats are ridiculously complicated, this one isn’t.

My Dog loves it.
I adopted a rescue from the south (I live in VT) so I got him this coat for the winter last year. He loves it, he bounces up and down when I pull it out of the closet and immediately assumes the position for me to put it on him. It seems to keep him nice and warm. I’m just a bit disappointed in the quality. The hole for the leash to feed through to the collar/harness is completely frayed to the point I don’t think I can repair it. Both the canvas and the flannel lining are on the thin side causing small thinning spots to become big holes very quickly. This is only the start of his second winter with it and I’m needing to find a replacement.

Blends into foliage
It's a very nice fieldcoat but NOT in hunting season. The color blends in nicely in out fall woods. I wish we could have used it.
