20 years strong!
I am buying another pair of these loafers for my dad today. He has worn the same pair for over 20 years (maybe longer, not sure how long LL Bean has sold these).
My dad has had chronic back pain for as long as I can recall but says he feels relief when he wear these shoes. I know he will keep his old pair, but I'm buying a new pair he can wear out in public.

prefer the shearling lined slipper
Beautiful Shoe and beautifully made, but made a lousy slipper. I found it hard on bare feet, compared with the shearling lined slipper (the same shoe) which is super comfortable. I returned the leather for the shearling lined leather, and am delighted

Slippery slippers
The soles on these slippers are polished leather, very slippery. Kind of dangerous.
Quality is good but these are pretty stiff out of the box.

These are not only leather lined, they are leather on the sole, which makes them slippery. They are also very hard and uncomfortable, not soft like the other slippers, which I do have and like very much.

Tipical LL Bean Quality
