Wear a long shirt
I had high hopes for the “hidden” comfort waist on these pants however what they don’t tell you is that the “comfort” aspect of these pants is achieved by the pockets not being fully attached to the waist of the pants to allow for expansion and when you move it leaves a gaping hole and your skin is exposed. Also, the “pockets” stick out like donkey ears and don’t lay flat and since they are white they contrast with the color of the pants themselves. They’re great pants if you wear a long shirt but I am disappointed as I need to tuck my uniform shirt in and these pants don’t fit the bill.

Poor replacement for original Bayside Twill pants.
I tried these several years ago and didn't like them. I tried them again in hopes that they had improved. I'm disappointed to say they haven't.
The fabric is nice and they are well constructed, but the fit is terrible. The pockets don't lay flat and gap so that the lining shows. The waistband pulls down so far in back I wouldn't want to wear a short shirt with them. I also don't like the opening on the inside at the top of the pockets.
I really liked the non-elastic waist pants. They looked good and fit well. The comfort waist pants don't do either one. I'm returning them.
Please bring back the non-elastic waist Bayside Twill pants.

Consistent performance
These pants are a staple in my wardrobe. The cut is attractive and the they’re made of quality fabric. My only criticism is that there aren’t more colors.

I like the look and feel of the pants as well as the expandable waist. I was disappointed that the 10Petite was too long for me. I am 5' 1". I had to get them shortened which made the pricel of the pants increase by another $50.00

Almost impossible to find.
Almost impossible to find ladies trousers that have belt line and loops above hips at natural waist. Thank heavens for Beans Originsl Fit.
