Perfect for my late Grandfather’s Sage rods
I love to fly fish and inherited my grandfather’s prized Sage rods when he passed. I wanted to find a way to store and transport the rods in a way that felt authentic to my Da’s very traditional attire and equipment. This rod case is absolutely perfect. It feels like everything in this sport is either olive green or grey, so the khaki and brown looks classic and beautiful. It’s minimalist in design but still practical for regular use. The zipper is big and strong, so I’m not worried about it breaking open and possibly losing one of these rods that mean the world to me. I’ve purchased more than my fair share of bags and cases over the years and I’ve spent 3x the price of this bag on some of them. This is my favorite daily-use fly rod bag and I’ve recommended it to a number of fishing buddies already. I can’t be complimentary enough.

Classic Fly rod case
Solid, nicely made case. Bought the longer one because I have both 2 piece and 4 piece rods. Lot of extra room for accessories. Nice leather quality. On the critical side, the snap/magnetic pocket fasteners need to be tighter. Maybe just strong brass snaps.

Would buy again. Love it!
I initially looked at this case for a couple years and didn’t pull the trigger on it. Which I regret now. Because this thing is the bomb. Looove it. I love the canvas look and feel, and the leather and brass. For the amount of money you spend it’s more than worth it. It provides protection for three rods. Plus it has pockets for smaller gear like fly reels, or flyboxes. The only regret I have is not buying it sooner. If you’re like me, and you were debating. Just pull the trigger and buy it. You won’t regret it.

Plenty of room for three rods
fits everything and i love the tin wax look for all my gear. this goes great with my over-under shotgun case. In Colorado the season has just started but im Sure it will make a great addition to my gear.

Quality and Value
This product deserves a 5-star review, for the quality alone. This level of craftsmanship and quality would cost 4-5 times as much through other popular manufacturers. The canvas and leather are thick and heavy. Very well made. Anyone complaining about the weight is really missing the point.

Excellent Rod Case
I own several fairly expensive bamboo fly rods. This is an excellent rod carrier for protecting your investment in fly rods. It’s super durable, really like a high grade gun carrier. The bag is padded, and the leather straps and brass fittings are heavy duty. I highly recommend it.
